Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Corporate Social Responsibility covers the responsibilities corporations have to the societies within which they are based and operate. Since India is a developing country with more than 70 % of its population living in more than 500000 villages, we as a corporate entity find it imperative to exercise our CSR objectives well.

As CHARBHUJA processing units are located in western and central parts of India, our CSR initiatives are well documented and personally attended by our CEO. Each Unit Head (general manager of the unit) also assumes responsibility of a CSR manager The CEO directly monitors these measures quarterly with our unit heads / CSR managers.

Our CSR activities range from conducting rural schools in remote tribal villages in the central and eastern parts of India, organizing social welfare campaigns and medical assistance for the downtrodden. These campaigns are organized during the months of April, May and June in the dense sal forests. Our other subsidiary units located near villages and adept to many social activities towards benefitting hygine and sanitation of the villagers.
